Oscar and Susan found the perfect place at Sequoia Lodge. They have been working as a couple for many years and feel very fortunate to be able to work and live here while doing something they both enjoy. They are here at Sequoia Lodge to provide the best hospitality service to all our visitors while they stay in our Lodge and enjoy its surroundings.

“Lovely place to relax”
[5 of 5 stars] Sept 30, 2015
We started here at the end of a 3 week trip to the US and Canada and it was the perfect place to finish. It is in a beautiful location, with the Kern river just a 2 minute walk, which is lovely for swimming, and also the best sights of the Sequoia National Forest are only a short drive away. The rooms are clean and comfy, and the fish-themed interiors are cute and homely. The owners are also really friendly and we will definitely come back in the future.

A case of serendipity led us to the Sequoia Lodge.
Clearly this is an older property..but the room was nicely decorated, comfortable and beyond clean. Truly I don't think Ibe ever seen an entire property, in such a rustic setting, cleaner. Not so much as a spider web outside. I don't know how they do it :0)
The outside patio behind the property provides a nice setting for enjoying the Kern River.
Feb through Novemeber ..a market across the street has great sandwiches..
Overall A+ for clean and quiet. Two things I look for in a weekend getaway...
